Research interests are in the areas of seed germination, physiology, and seed testing. Seeds of primary concern are those grown in South Dakota and neighboring states. Teaching duties include the following courses: Seed Technology, Grain Grading, Crop Judging, and Special Topics related to seed technology. Other duties include managing the SDSU Seed Testing Lab and training students to become seed analysts.
