Application and Materials

 Last updated

The files below contain the text and most of the appendices for a Section 18 Quarantine Exemption request, submitted by Minnesota and South Dakota, for the use of certain fungicides on soybeans for the control of soybean rust.  As agreed upon by U.S. EPA, states wishing to be added to this exemption request can do so by referencing the MN/SD application (states do not need to submit an entire application).  To be included in the Soybean Rust Section 18 application, a state should send a formal request to EPA, reference the MN/SD application and include state contact information, potential number of acres to be treated, a statement about enforcement, and endangered species information.

Questions relating to a state being added to the Soybean Rust Section 18 can be addressed to Andrew Ertman at Ertman.Andrew@epamail.epa.gov, the EPA Section 18 Team Leader.  Some of the appendices (B, D, F, G, H, I, and J) are zip compressed files that will need to be extracted with a zip utility such as WinZipTM.

NOTE:  While active ingredients have remained the same, there have been some recent changes as to the labeled products on the request. Please be sure to use the most recent version of the template in you individual state requests!
