Second Brood Corn Borer Moths Flying
Corn borer moths are actively laying eggs on tasseling corn in the SE Farm. Moth flights there have been increasing since July 21. We may see the peak moth flight of the second brood sometime this week. Areas with the bivoltine or two-peak moth flight are not out of the woods yet in terms of potential damage due to corn borers. I will post you on the current moth flight or you may just refer to the current moth flight that I publish on the Web.
