Mosquitoes, through the process of metamorphosis, transform into eggs,
larvae (wrigglers), pupae (tumblers), and adult male or female
mosquitoes. The adult stage is terrestrial while the immature stages
are aquatic. Mosquitoes cannot multiply without water.
