Small Grains: Wheat, Oats & Barley
Corn
Soybeans
Contact Robert Hall
This program conducts extension programming for the spring-seeded small grains, corn, soybeans, and some alternative crops grown in SD. It derives it resources from the South Dakota Crop Performance Testing Activity. This program is the resource for publishing (print and webpage) the results of the small grain, corn, and soybean crop performance trials every year. This program serves as the primary source for information on the planting, growth, physiology, harvesting, and post-harvest issues involved in these crops.
SUNFLOWERS AND MINOR OILSEED CROPS

This program also conducts variety performance trials of sunflower, flax, and occasionally other minor/new oilseed crops, and collaborates with the extension entomology and plant pathology programs on oilseed-related research/extension activities.
