His research interests include:
(1) Remote Sensing applied to quality and nitrogen management in dryland wheat in South Dakota, and sugarbeet rotations in southern Minnesota;
(2) Modeling of agricultural sprayer performance under different control methodologies;
(3) Soil strength measurements in no-till rotations and cover crops,
(4) Draft of a deep moldboard plow
(5) Applications of Machine Vision.
He is a member of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers.
