Ki-In Kim is a Ph.D.graduate research assistant in the Plant Science Department at South Dakota State University. His research work includes (i) determination of interaction between carbon, nitrogen, and water at different landscape positions and (ii.) mapping of nitrogen movement using global positioning systems (GPS) and geographic information system (GIS) . Ki-In's M.S. thesis that he completed in Korea focused on the relationship between soil color characteristics and measurement values by colorimeter.
