Umakant Mishra is a graduate student at plant science department. He has completed his Bachelor in Agriculture from Tribhuwan University, Nepal and Masters in Physical Land Resources from Ghent University, Belgium. His Masters thesis was entitled “Predicting soil properties using GIS based landscape analysis”. His current research includes use of GIS and remote sensing in soil science and precision agriculture. His research interest includes Digital Terrain Analysis, Geostatistics and Precision Agriculture.
