Dr. Ibrahim is the project leader of the Winter Breeding and Genetics Program.  His research focuses on the genetic manipulation of winter wheat for improving yield and yield stability, end-use quality, tolerance to environmental stresses, and resistance to diseases that are prevalent in South Dakota and the central and northern Great Plains. His teaching responsibilities include PS 756 - Quantitative Genetics.
