Galinsoga

Life cycle: Annual

Leaves: Oval-shaped leaves with jagged edges.

Stems: Upright with some hairs.

Flowers: Small, white to pink, normally with five petals.

Roots: Taproot

Comments: May produce multiple generations in one growing season. Prolific seed producer.

Control

Cultural: Bedding or mulch in garden or landscapes.

Soil Herbicides: For landscapes, may use isoxaben (Gallery or Portrait).
