Leaves: Oval-shaped leaves with smooth edges.

Stems: Watery, flimsy vertical stems, usually without branching.

Flowers: Brown or green colored flowers.

Roots: Taproot

Comments: Often found in shaded areas near edge of lawn.

Control

Cultural: Mowing.

Foliar Herbicides: Products that contain 2,4-D and dicamba (Weed-B-Gone Max, Trimec, WeedStop, and others), triclopyr (Turflon), or clopyralid (Confront).
