Life cycle: Local noxious. Perennial.

Leaves: Opposite, oblong, black dots along margin.

Stems: 1 to 3 feet tall. Smooth, branched, erect, somewhat two-edged.

Flowers: Bright yellow, five-petalled. Black dots along margin.

Weed Species: local noxious weed

Comments: Considered a poisonous plant-acts as a photo sensitizer to livestock.
