Shallow glacier lake or "Prairie Pothole" which is evidence of past glacial activity in eastern South Dakota. These numerous lakes are located on the 'Great Flyway' and provide habitat for migratory birds and local waterfowl. Location is 15 miles south of Brookings in Brookings county.
